Stop and listen to the breath of the mountain.

At the foot of the rugged slopes of the Picentini Mountains, where wild nature meets centuries-old history, stands the Firosa winery.

Here, amidst tales of brigands and the silence of the mountains, the Poppiti sisters have rediscovered and enhanced the ancient winemaking traditions of the area. Firosa’s vines are rooted in a land rich in history and character.

Our philosophy is to respect and enhance this connection, to offer wines that speak of the land. Firosa’s vines grow in a unique setting, between winds blowing in from the sea and cool mountain breezes.

This particular microclimate gives the wines a distinctive character of complexity and depth.

Small cellars hold unsuspected treasures!

The women of Firosa before being entrepreneurs are in fact winemakers, they know the value of farm work, the care that grape growing requires and the commitment to transforming grapes into wine.

Guardians of the land’s resources, they have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and soil health.

Their focus on sustainability results in a product that is not only high quality, but also ethical and responsible.

Aglianico, Merlot and Fiano: a collection declined with deep respect for territoriality but with elegance and balance.

Each bottle tells a story of passion, a struggle against the difficulties of the land and a celebration of its generosity.

Deep roots, authentic flavors.

Firosa, an acronym for Filomena, Rossella and Sara Poppiti is the OIevano sul Tusciano winery created by three sisters, supported by their mother Adele.

A noble history that preserves from the past the strong attachment to the roots of their territories, traditions and craftsmanship of wine.

For the Poppiti sisters, making wine is not just a craft, but a way of life.

Every stage of production, from pruning the vines to hand-picking the grapes, is carried out with meticulous care that reflects their passion and dedication.
